About Ms. Shafinaz

Hello! I’m Ms. Shafinaz from Malaysia—a passionate mathematics educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. For more than a decade, I’ve been teaching internationally in various countries, and I’m currently based in Japan.

I’ve had the privilege of working in international schools and teaching a variety of mathematics curricula, including IGCSE Mathematics, A Levels, and the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). Currently, I am teaching IBDP Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches SL at one of the international schools in Japan.

I strive to make mathematics meaningful, engaging, and accessible to all learners. I believe that with the right support and mindset, every student can succeed in math.
